!OBITUARY: Hazel M. Sumner - Hazel Martin Huff Sumner, 87, of Ames, Okla., died Sunday, Aug 5 , 2001, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, Okla. She was a former resident of Cl arksville, graduate of Clarksville High School, daughter of the late Arvie A. and Lovie Morga n Martin, member of the Ames (Oklahoma) Baptist Church where she taught the adult Sunday Scho ol class for 42 years and served as church clerk for 18 years, and was involved with the Happ y Home Extension Club for several years. On Sept 1, 1934, she married Cliff Huff, who preced ed her in death on Aug. 27, 1940, and on Dec. 24, 1942, she married Wilkins David (W.D.) Sumn er. She was also preceded in death by one son, William David (Bill) Sumner; three brothers ; and three sisters. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Lyndell and Sondra Sumn er of Denton, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marietta and K.D. Hoisington of Tryon, Ok la., and Willetta and Jerry Patton of Wichita, Kan.; ten grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildre n; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral was at 2 p.m. We dnesday, Aug, 8, at Ames Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Thorpe officiating. Burial was in Ame s Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
