!BIO: Your question about the possibility of Aunt Auvella having 1st marriages to Taylor me n that were brothers. I called Ruel to check. "Not to my knowledge," he stated. Seems tha t Aunt Zola's husband was a brother to an Oliver Taylor - a different group of Taylors livin g west of town. Aunt Auvella's husband (Ruel's father) was George Wesley Taylor (Wes or G.W. ) & family lived in Ludwig area - a beautiful location & ideal for peach orchards that abound ed in that general section of Johnson Co. One time, in visiting with Ruel & Netta in their h ome, he reported your grandfather Lannie coming to AR different summers at peach picking tim e to visit his mother Mary. The visit was always scheduled & plans made to can peaches at th e farm for taking back to Oklahoma to enjoy some "fruits of the harvest" at a later time - Th ere are still some " Taylor" peach orchards - And, I can remember the peach orchard etc. at G randmother Mary's home place. Ruel also reported the family (Auvella & his father or step-fat her) moving about quite a bit. Lived & worked in Hannah, OK at one time. He remembered the y were in Dallas, TX after W.W.I. They even lived in New Mexico once. I know Aunt Auvell a & Luther Ed Balentine lived in Tulsa when I was young. Even stayed some & visited with us . The (Orvella) must be a spelling error - Auvella is all I know - she & Ed are buried at Mt . Vernon.
