!OBITUARY: Charles Martin, 67, of Plano, Texas, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, at his home. H e was a native of Clarksville, son of the late Orla Charles and Laura Mae Taylor Martin, grad uate of the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, member and deacon of First Baptist Churc h in Plano, Texas, served on the Texas Baptist Men's Disaster Relief Team, and was preceded i n death by one sister, Eva Atkinson. Survivors are his widow, Jetta Mae Blackard Martin; th ree daughters and two sons-in-law, Debbie Noble of Plano, Texas, Diane and Doug Williams of H ouston, Texas, and Donna and Dan Thompson of Amarillo, Texas; seven grandchildren, Amanda an d Ashley Noble, Lindsey and Lauren Williams, and Chad, Christopher and Chase Thompson; one si ster and brother-in-law, Joyce Mae and Tom Koon of Byron Center, Mich.; mother-in-law, Joyc e Blackard of Tahlequah, Okla.; two brothers-in-law, Jim Blackard and wife, Morine, of Carrol lton, Texas, and Bill Blackard and wife, Mary, of Tahlequah, Okla. Funeral will be at 2 p.m . Friday, Sept. 6, at the First Baptist Chruch in Plano, Texas, with Dr. Michael Riley offici ating. Burial will be in Ridgeview Memorial Park under the direction of Turrentine Jackson M orrow Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at Turrentine Jackso n Morrow Funeral Home.
