WILL BEAN DIES SUDDENLY AT FARM HOME Stroke Of Apoplexy Prove s Fatal To Well Known Johnson County Woman; Funeral Held Tuesday. Mrs. Will A. Bean, 55 year s old, died suddenly Monday at her home in the Lone Pine community near here following a stro ke of apoplexy. Mrs Bean was born and reared in Johnson county and has spent most of her lif e in the Lone Pine community. She was the daughter of the late Jasper Jacobs, prominent John son county citizen. Besides her husband she is survived by four sons, Althoe Bean, Tulsa., Ok la., Otis Bean, Sperry, Okla., Oland Bean and Quenters Bean of Lone Pine; two daughers, Mrs . Eula Moyer, Clarksville and Erma of Lone Pine and a brother, Lattie Jacobs of Portales, N.M . Funeral services were held from the family home in Lone Pine Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'cloc k with the Rev. J.J. Partain pastor of the Harmony Presbyterian church and the Rev. Hugh Yand ell, also a Presbyterian minister. Burial was in the Lone Pine cemetery with Hardwicke Funer al home in charge. Pallbearers were: D.B. Basham, H.F. Blackburn, Walter Mooney, B.Y. Frost , Lee Glates and Oscar Underwood. Flower girls were the Misses Iladean Basham, Beatrice Bash am, Joy Baskins, Alma Baskins, Ruby Stewart and Ruth Stewart.

!OBITUARY: Quentin Bean, 82, of Clarksville died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002, at Countryside Mano r Nursing Home. A native of Clarksville, he was a son of the late William and Ethel Jacobs B ean, a retired carpenter and Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by two daughters , Evelyn Andersen of Clarksville and Phyllis Atkins of Peyton, Colo.; one sister, Emma Dell L eeds of Clarksville; six grandchildren, Michelle Moore and Joshua Moore, both of Seattle, Was h.; Melandie Uscocovich of Quayaquil, Ecuador, Adam Moore of Victoria, British Columbia, Cana da, and Joel Atkins and Brian Atkins, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and two great-grandchi ldren, Santiago Uscocovich of Ecuador and Elias Quen Alba Moore of Seattle, Wash. Gravesid e services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct 16, at Stillwell Cemetery with David L asater officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home. She was a native of Clarksville, daughter of the late Robert Harle y and Bertha Beatrice Self King and a member of the Stillwell Bible Baptist Church. Survivor s include her husband Quentin Bean; two daughters, Evelyn Marie Andersen of Clarksville and P hyllis Kaye Atkins of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sisters, Patsy Latson of Little Rock, an d Bertha Smith, Virginia Andersen and Mary Wood, all of Clarksville; one brother, Robert Garl and King of Clarksville; six grandchildren, Brian Atkins and Joel Atkins, both of Colorado Sp rings, Colo., Michelle Moore of Seattle, Wash., Melanie Uscocovich of Ecuador, Adam More of S an Diego, Calif., and Josh Moore of Clarksville; and one great-grandchild, Santiago Uscocovic h of Ecuador. Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept 20, at Stillwell Bible Baptist Church wit h Rev. Jim Goodman and Rev. Steve Askins officiating. Burial was in Stillwell Cemetery unde r the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
