!OBITUARY: [Ethel Eldora Jacobs] Information found in the Herald Democrat Newspaper, Clarksvi lle, Johnson County, Arkansas. May 24, 1938. MRS. WILL BEAN DIES SUDDENLY AT FARM HOME St roke Of Apoplexy Proves Fatal To Well Known Johnson County Woman; Funeral Held Tuesday. Mrs . Will A. Bean, 55 years old, died suddenly Monday at her home in the Lone Pine community nea r here following a stroke of apoplexy. Mrs Bean was born and reared in Johnson county and ha s spent most of her life in the Lone Pine community. She was the daughter of the late Jaspe r Jacobs, prominent Johnson county citizen. Besides her husband she is survived by four sons , Althoe Bean, Tulsa., Okla., Otis Bean, Sperry, Okla., Oland Bean and Quenters Bean of Lon e Pine; two daughers, Mrs. Eula Moyer, Clarksville and Erma of Lone Pine and a brother, Latti e Jacobs of Portales, N.M. Funeral services were held from the family home in Lone Pine Tuesd ay afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. J.J. Partain pastor of the Harmony Presbyterian churc h and the Rev. Hugh Yandell, also a Presbyterian minister. Burial was in the Lone Pine cemet ery with Hardwicke Funeral home in charge. Pallbearers were: D.B. Basham, H.F. Blackburn, Wal ter Mooney, B.Y. Frost, Lee Glates and Oscar Underwood. Flower girls were the Misses Iladea n Basham, Beatrice Basham, Joy Baskins, Alma Baskins, Ruby Stewart and Ruth Stewart.

!OBITUARY: Quentin Bean, 82, of Clarksville died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002, at Countryside Mano r Nursing Home. A native of Clarksville, he was a son of the late William and Ethel Jacobs B ean, a retired carpenter and Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by two daughters , Evelyn Andersen of Clarksville and Phyllis Atkins of Peyton, Colo.; one sister, Emma Dell L eeds of Clarksville; six grandchildren, Michelle Moore and Joshua Moore, both of Seattle, Was h.; Melandie Uscocovich of Quayaquil, Ecuador, Adam Moore of Victoria, British Columbia, Cana da, and Joel Atkins and Brian Atkins, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and two great-grandchi ldren, Santiago Uscocovich of Ecuador and Elias Quen Alba Moore of Seattle, Wash. Gravesid e services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct 16, at Stillwell Cemetery with David L asater officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
