s Fatal To Well Known Johnson County Woman; Funeral Held Tuesday. Mrs. Will A. Bean, 55 year
s old, died suddenly Monday at her home in the Lone Pine community near here following a stro
ke of apoplexy. Mrs Bean was born and reared in Johnson county and has spent most of her lif
e in the Lone Pine community. She was the daughter of the late Jasper Jacobs, prominent John
son county citizen. Besides her husband she is survived by four sons, Althoe Bean, Tulsa., Ok
la., Otis Bean, Sperry, Okla., Oland Bean and Quenters Bean of Lone Pine; two daughers, Mrs
. Eula Moyer, Clarksville and Erma of Lone Pine and a brother, Lattie Jacobs of Portales, N.M
. Funeral services were held from the family home in Lone Pine Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'cloc
k with the Rev. J.J. Partain pastor of the Harmony Presbyterian church and the Rev. Hugh Yand
ell, also a Presbyterian minister. Burial was in the Lone Pine cemetery with Hardwicke Funer
al home in charge. Pallbearers were: D.B. Basham, H.F. Blackburn, Walter Mooney, B.Y. Frost
, Lee Glates and Oscar Underwood. Flower girls were the Misses Iladean Basham, Beatrice Bash
am, Joy Baskins, Alma Baskins, Ruby Stewart and Ruth Stewart.
