SMITH is a son of ABRAHAM SMITH a nd ELISABETH S. (MARTIN) SMITH it would appear that ABRAHAM SMITH and ELISABETH S. (MAR TIN) SMITH were in Franklin County, Tennessee in 1836 and in Lincoln County, Tennessee by 184 5.
