To : <donmthomas@hotmail.com> - Subject : Family History of Alvin P. Countiss - Hello Don
,
I just came across your family history research at ancestry.com and your request for photos
. I have tombstone photos for John Richard Countiss, Nancy (Grizzle) Countiss, James Newma
n Countiss, Molly (Spencer) Countiss, Martha C. (Ballenger) Countiss, Reuben C. Countiss an
d Pocahontas (Morgan) Countiss posted at Snapfish.com. If you would like to view/order copie
s, let me know and I will e-mail you access to my albums. Sarah Francis A. Ray was a sister t
o my g,g, g grandmother, Margaret Eliz., Ray. Several of the Ray siblings married several o
f the Countiss siblings. I am confused as to when Sarah Francis was married to John M. Martin
- she had a dau. by Napoleon McCallister in 1872, so did she divorce him and marry Mr. Marti
n before the 1880 census? Calhoun Co. MS was my birthplace although I now live in MO, but I g
o back frequently to do genealogy research. The Countiss, Ray, Grizzle and Grammer families a
re all inter-related, so it get confusing sometimes, but if I can be of any more help, let m
e know. Shirley Kimbrell Williford - p.s. are you related to any Thomas families in MS- my hu
sband's maternal grandparents are Thomases.
