!BIOGRAPHY: Henry D. Lynch came to Dallas, Texas from Illinois in 1874. There he met John St acks from Springtown who was there after some freight. Lynch came to Springtown with Stack s because he wanted to work on the Texas Frontier. Lynch and Mollie Allen, stepdaughter of S tacks, were later married. They bought land 1 1/2 miles southwest of Springtown and cleare d the timber from it for a farm. He was a good farmer and a breeder of fine horses and mules . He also did rock work. He built a rock livery stable on the southwest corner of the squar e in Springtown and a big two story house on the farm. He served with the Texas Rangers fo r four year. Henry and Mollie had four children: William Perry, Charles Willie, Minnie Alle n and Ona Ethel. Ona died December 14, 1895. Henry died September 16, 1902. Will and Willi s Lynch, operating as partners, continued to maintain a very progressive farm and became succ essfull stockmen. W.P. (Will) Lynch married Delia Clark. They lived on the farm for many ye ars. They have one son Lonnie Loyd. C.W. Lynch, a bachelor, lived with his mother in the ol d home. Mollie died August 5, 1943. Delia died September 4, 1947. C.W. Lynch died January 2 0, 1965. W.P. Lynch died March 6, 1978. Minnie Allen Lynch married Delton Sandlin. They bo ught the Stilly Roberts farm on what we now know as Sandlin Hill. They had three children: D ulon, Milton and Neomia. Dulon married Elizabeth Dunn. They live in Carbon, Texas. Their f our children are Carol, Jimmie, Billie and Katherine. Milton married Dixie Boles. They liv e in Lubbock, Texas. Their one son is named Mike. Milton died January 24, 1970. Neomia mar ried Reverend James Turner. They lived in Tampa, Florida. Their two children are Donald an d Diane. Minnie Allen Sandlin died in 1929. Lonnie Loyd Lynch married Jessie Marie Hokett i n 1928. They lived on the family farm for a few months. Then they moved into Springtown whe re they were in the produce business. Later he worked at General Dynamics until his retireme nt in 1967. They lived in Springtown forty years, then moved back to the old home place in 1 971. They have two sons: William Loyd and Gary Leon. Loyd married Linda Lee Hutcheson. The y live on the Lynch farm where Loyd is continuing the breeding and raising of horses and cows . He is an employee of Bell Helicopter as a casting engineer. They have three children: She rri Lynn, Charles Loyd and Perry Lee. Sherri is married to James Loyd Harrison and they liv e in Ferris, Texas, where they teach in the public schools. Gary married Virginia Ann Measur es. They live four miles south of Weatherford on the Old Dennis Road. He is an employee o f Bell Helicopter as a regional marketing manager. Their three children are Kristi Lane, Ker i K. and Angelia Anne. !BIOGRAPHY: Henry D. LYNCH came to TX in 1874 from IL, was the best known of 4 brothers, b. 2 3 Aug. 1850 d. 16 Sep. 1902 Springtown. M.J. ALLEN his wife was b. 23 Jan. 1860 near Springto wn d. 5 Sep. 1943 1 1/2 miles from where she was born. Her mother was the second wife of Joh n STACKS, they had 5 children: Will, John and a daughter Laura who m. Joe PAYNE. Jim STACKS w as a child of John by a former marriage to a sister of Josh CULWELL. Henry D. LYNCH and M.J . were m. 7 Nov. 1878, children were: W.P., C.W. and Minnie Allen, another daughter m. Delto n SANDLIN and d. 14 June 1929, another daughter Ona Ethel d. 4 Dec. 1895 at an early age. W.P . m. Della CLARK and has one son, Lonnie. C.
